This 4500 square foot bungalow was designed to comply with stringent covenants conditions and restrictions set by the developer in regards to site coverage, sight lines from adjacent lots, and preservation of existing trees. These criteria were best met with arts and crafts style structure. All of the exposed roof beams and purlins are structural.
This mountain top home was designed to take advantage of panoramic lake views. Special consideration was taken to site the home with proper solar orientation. A large two story car garage is integrated into the entry roof structure.
This lake front design was originally created for a local builder as a spec house. The second owner asked for a bedroom suite addition to be added on an adjacent lot increasing the home’s size by 50%.
This Art Deco 4 bedroom home was originally built in 1940 as a promotion for a construction and design firm. The current owner purchased the home in 2002. The house has been restored and modified to a three bedroom (large master suite) in several phases. It was awarded “Best Preservation” by the California Art Deco Society in 2009.
